Boy, am I confused! I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the
Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us. I now find that to be
RIDICULOUS.

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they
are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I have

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens

and add a few more
letters, it actually spells out:

If we don't watch out, we are going to get sneak-attacked from the rear. I want to be ready. Already, we are feeling a tickle, and we should be warned.

I can remember how we used to have ominous feelings or fore-shadowing about the oncoming violence in the Middle East. I can remember how we somehow just knew something awful was going to transpire out of the sand dunes around the Middle East region. We didn't know when, we didn't know how, but we knew.

Our mistake: We Weren't Ready.

We aren't ready enough now. The attempts now are too feeble and too late. Now add to the menu: a lousy economy, lost jobs, & loosing our freedom. Families are feeling the stress. History shows a pattern of violence, lashing out, fighting, and increased crime when the society feels an economical pinch. We want them out, out of our system, our culture and our backyard. We want border control, levies upon businesses that hire illegals, and much more.

On the other hand, this seems a lot like ethnic cleansing.

We have slowly watched the decay of our economy since Sam Walton died. When he died, American made products died as well. After he died, we began to see a slow trickle of our American products slowly cross our borders (across the oceans or into the Southern Hemisphere). Yet, we didn't say or do anything about it. We should of been more concerned about our American bottom line, than our own (personal) bottom line. We should of protested louder when we saw the demise of certain American companies re-locating elsewhere, instead of buying cheaper & inferior products. We can't enforce our standards when we get or buy products that are harmful to us the consumer or to our environment. We have been getting a lot of email about buying only products made in the U.S.A, but have you actually looked for American made products lately?

I hear the out rage and the ensuing tribal war calls. But, we brought this upon ourselves by not getting more involved, by taking the word from somebody else, and not standing up for our own businesses: like when American shirt factories closed, plastic industries swallowed up, ironworkers displaced, and our dreams... up in smoke. We are literally left with the cheap plastic bag, which takes billions of years to degrade. Look at your local garbage dump for proof in the pudding.

I want to see a re-surgeance of Mom & Pop stores and American Arts & Crafts. There was something unique in each region. We are rich in diversity & individualism, we just need to re-tap our strength, energy & ingenuity.

When you go to a different city one shouldn't see the same thing you just left! What kind of pride is that really saying? When one giant corportation falls, they all topple. What happens next is being sucked into a big blackhole, biting & kicking & screaming & clawing on all sides trying to escape from being sucked into a vacuum of darkness.

The survivors? Well, they are the ones that are ready for action. Are you ready?

Becoming Illegal (Actual letter from an Iowa resident and sent to his

Dear Senator Harkin,

As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue
Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the
Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process
for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S.
Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed
by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this
bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the
United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to
pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I
know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process
started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to
pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two
years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that
I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent
result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and
2005.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local
emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped
paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could
save almost $10,000 a year.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my
daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school
applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges
throughout the United States for my son..

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the
burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car
insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have
college age children driving my car.

If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become
illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I
would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.
