I love you man...You keep these guys honest. Almost everyone on the right and left has the country's best interest at heart. The truth has always been somewhere in the middle.
I give props to the Libs who are at least honest about wanting to control our lives. I find less hipocrisy (although I still disagree with a lot of the ideas) with such an approach. Unfortunately, while many hard right wing folks tell you they are all about freedom, it is a lie. For example, abortion (which I personally find repugnant) shows just one of many areas that the hard right continually limits personal freedom. How about some real libretarianism on some of these social issues from the right?
As much as you want to draw a difference between the right and the left, when either is extreme, they have a lot more in common than what makes them different. Any limitations on freedom should be carefully evaluated by every citizen at the ballot box.
