Mortality

Postby EYEMIDIOT » Sat Dec 08, 2007 5:07 pm

Over the past three week's It's become very apparent to me that life get's sadder as we get older, in some ways. For the third week in a row I've attended a friends funeral. You kinda start to feel your own mortality, when friend's start dropping like flies ! . 1st) Justin Bush
2nd) Al Hunter
3rd) William (Jake) Jacques.
AKA. Jake the Snake in the racing world. As long as I hold them in my heart and memory, they will live on, but be sorely missed. As for my own mortality, I have a feeling it's goining to be a long while before I see them again! . God Bless Us All!

You can accept the death of those older than you. Parents, friends. But to have a someone die who is younger than you strikes a deep chord.

It's a gut check of your closest beliefs. I rest in the complete assurance that those who have passed before us prepare our way and will greet us as brothers and sisters when it's our turn.
